We sometimes hear some daft things, like this morning, I was walking along and a voice came out of a doorway, a couple of young women talking, 'well, it's my body,' but she wasn't sure because she followed it with, 'isn't it?'
Well, its not, is it, it belongs to Mother Nature; except for limited control of motion and speech, the body runs on automatic, the autonomous nervous system controls all essential functions. A week of not breathing, or relieving your bladder, or evacuating your bowel, digesting food, heart not beating, etc, soon tells us how much the body is ours. I'd like to know who the I is that professes to own the body?
